Balito apartments is located in the area of Kato Galatas, less than a kilometer away from the blue sea of Kalamaki and Agii Apostoli.
Galatas is a traditional Cretan village with a good number of stores and restaurants.
The old town of Chania and its famous marketplace are but a short drive away from Balito apartments.
Those of our guests who do not want to visit the beaches of Chania can stay in Balito apartments and enjoy the pool.
After a refreshening swim, relax at the pool-side bar and cool off with an ice-cream!

Area Information
Galatas, the area where Balito apartments is located, is one of the most serene areas of Chania.
The village of Galatas is a traditional village where you can find tavernas, grocery stores, a confectionary, etc.
The beach of Kalamaki and Agii Apostoli are less than a kilometer away. There you can enjoy the cool and clean sea or a meal at tavernas along the coast.
The distance from Chania is about 4 kilometers. There is a bus every 45 minutes heading to the city.
At the city of Chania you can find the famous venetian port, the mosque of Hasan Pascha, the fort of Firka and the characteristic marketplace building at the center of town (known as the Agora).
The renowned gorge of Samaria is about 35 kilometers from the Balito apartments.

The rooms are spacious, the staff is extremely helpful and it was only a 10 euro cab ride to the main city. The only draw back(not really one for me) is that there is no food available for purchase at the hotel itself. However, there is a great restaurant that's only a five minute walk away. | 5 |
